Camp Kulaqua is located more than two hours from Orlando. Most youth leaders flew into Orlando and took a bus to Camp Kulaqua, while others drove from various locations to ensure timely arrivals. The program during the four-day event included Mass and numerous discussion sessions led by renowned Vietnamese youth leaders.
During the opening Mass, Bishop Eric Pohlmeier warmly welcomed all the youth leaders to the Diocese of St. Augustine, expressing his admiration for the energy and dedication of the Eucharistic Youth Movement. He was particularly pleased to host such a significant event in his diocese. Sessions throughout the convention reminded, inspired, and encouraged leaders to continue their dedication to building the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement. The event also emphasized promoting the spirit of service among all youth by being united in prayer, in the Eucharist, in sacrificial acts, and in apostolic works.
