Denver Province Partners in Mission completed their second – and hopefully annual – Redemptorist Spirituality Workshop on May 3.
Participants viewed half-hour YouTube videos as preparation for hour-long ZOOM meeting discussions held Monday evenings for a total of eight weeks.
The videos and discussions explored a wide range of spirituality topics – from asking the question “What is spirituality?” to how to recognize the Spirit’s call to each of us to reach out to those most in need.
The 23 workshop participants included both interested laity and professed Redemptorists from around the country – the Seelos Center in New Orleans, the “Rock” Church in St. Louis, the Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson, St. Mary’s of the Assumption Parish in Whittier, St. Michael’s Parish in Chicago and St. Alphonsus Parish in Minneapolis.Lay participants completing the workshop were invited to attend a follow-up discernment program leading to a more formal participation in Redemptorist spirituality as members of a Redemptorist Associates Circle.
Thank you, Fr. Greg May, C.Ss.R., for a great job organizing the workshop, preparing the videos and participating in the discussions.
