Toronto Welcomes New Permanent Deacon

July 7, 2022Giulia Spadafora, the community administrator at St. Patrick's Monastery in Toronto, is known to most of you on this mailing list.
Less well known is her husband, Sergio, who also works for the Redemptorists.
Since last year he has taken over the responsibilities for the Perpetual Help Devotions in terms of mailouts, finances, responses to requests, etc., all the office work that goes into the smooth running of PHD communications.
As a part-time employee he works away in the PHD office looking after the correspondence while preparing the two annual requests for donations that are sent out.
He is a gift to our connection with PHD devotees across the country and beyond. And now he will add the duties of a permanent Deacon to his responsibilities! We wish him God's continued abundant blessings on his ministry and his family. Sergio's First Mass as a Deacon was on Sunday, June 19.
